Taste of Hampton Roads is the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia’s annual charity event. The events goal is to help hundreds of local agencies including church pantries and area Kids’ Cafes that provide meals to those in need.
Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, a member of Feeding America™ and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, has been providing food for hungry people throughout Southeastern Virginia and on the Eastern Shore.
Food service professionals working in corrections assume enormous responsibilities, ranging from the health and safety of their confined populations, to management and budget issues. ACFSA promotes professionalism at all levels of correctional food service through our education and certification programs.
As an employer, would you be interested in serving as an official externship site? The Culinary Institute of Virginia’s externship program is an integral part of a students’ education. Culinary Institute of Virginia holds career fairs in the spring and fall each year.
